Spring Mini Catalog Dates Extended!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that the Spring mini catalog dates have been extended. The last day to order items from it has been changed from May 31st to June 30th. I have some great classes planned using some items from this catalog. I will be rescheduling the Bloomin' Beautiful class to a June date, which hopefully will be easier to attend when school is done. Only 26 days left!!

Only two days!

I'm getting better, it's only been two days since my last post. I had enough energy to make one card this evening. I was playing around with the scallop sale-a-bration set. I really like the flower thank you. This card uses wild wasabi and soft sky ink and cardstock.

This next card was actually a card I made with my scrapper's club last month. It uses the Summer Picnic paper, which is available with this month's scrapbooking kit. The colors are fun!

Bloomin Beautiful Class Date Change

I've had to change the date of the Bloomin's Beautiful Class. The new date is April 26th. Sorry for the inconvience.

Fun Cards

So, I hate how fast weekends go. I wasn't feeling well on Saturday, so of course that day went by slow. I woke up with my body feeling up to par, and now it's night time already! I did manage to make some cards. I'm organizing Brad's pics at the moment so I'm holding out on the scrapbooking until May 3rd, National Scrapbooking Day! The first card is made from paper that you can get from this month's Scrapping kit. I used the Summer Picninc Designer paper, bashful blue cardstock, die-cut blooms, perfect day rub-ons, and a build-a-brad (love these things!). The great thing about this card is there was no stamping involved. I have so many rub-ons, that I am trying to use them instead of horde them.

This second card also uses rub-ons (from Sale-a-bration). The cardstock os soft sky and Afternoon Tea designer paper.
This next card is for my friend who is having her baby on Tuesday. She is having a girl and I thought that this would be a fun card. I love this Just B set. It's great for me because I can make a scrapbook page that says B is for Bradley :)

The last card I made was something that I started probably a month ago. It was stamped, but then I got distracted. So, it has been sitting on my table unassembled. I finally put it together tonight. You can't see from the picture, but the antennae have clear stickles on them to add a little extra shine!

Lagger!

Yes I am a lagger. I have not been very good at keeping up with this blogging thing. So that is my new goal for the week. Even if I don't upload a photo, I want to at least try and post. So it's Monday! Boy was it hard for me to get up this morning. The good news is that there are only 7 more Mondays that I have to get up before summer vacation. Well, I guess I'll get up once summer hits, but I won't have a work schedule to follow. So instead of posting a picture of a stamping item (I'm just lazy tonight), I thought I would post a picture of my son enjoying his dinner. Can you see the scrapbooking potential?

Last day of March already!

Wow, time flies. It's hard to believe that March has come and gone. We just planned our last big field trips for the year at my school and I feel that summer is just around the corner. I had a little time to play tonight. I've really been wanting to make some cards to just have on hand. I always seem to scramble to make a card the day or hours before I need one. So my goal is to make up a few all occasion, birthday and thank you cards to have on hand. The first is a card using the greetings galore stamp set. This set has many stamps for various occasions. I haven't used it much, but it came with my starter kit. It's simple, but I like simple.

The second card uses the embrace life stamp set. I love the Asian feel of the set. I have some Japanese character stamps that might also go well with this. I may have to make another.
Check back tomorrow morning and I will have the April scrapbook picture uploaded. Now those of you who give me a bad time for posting so early in the morning, remember I have a 6 month old. He wakes up at 5:30 a.m.! We try hard to keep him up later (6:30 p.m.) in hopes he will sleep in, but so far no luck.
